Summary:
Control strings being sent through the 50004 port intermittently fail to reach the hardware, preventing the intended commands from being executed.
Storing the control strings locally on the N2600 and triggering them from the system yielded the same result.
Troubleshooting:
Issue resolved in 1.7.7 or higher firmware.
