Information:

• The best practice when updating N26x5D wallplates firmware from v1.5.x to v2.0.0.​
  • Close Dante Controller
  • Wait 10 minutes
  • Use N-able Firmware Updater to update units firmware
• The update package includes minimum version 1.3.8.
  • Included is a folder called "Web". The folder contains firmware 1.3.8 and 2.0.0 files to update the MWC function using the webpage address "http://<IP>/fwup.html" and upload the correct .bin file for the model and version needed. 

Prerequisites:

• Units must be on firmware version 1.3.8 to update to any higher versions.
• Minimum N2600 Firmware:
  • All Wall Plate units must be on version 1.3.8 before attempting this update.
• If needed or issues updating with N-Able, update the device with the desired version of firmware from the Web folder at the link http://<device_ip>\fwup.html by uploading the .bin file to the MWC firmware from the Web folder.
• N-Able:
  • The minimum version of N-Able must be 5.1.6, https://www.amx.com/en-US/product_families/amx-n-able-control-software

Known Issues:

• The status LED sometimes has a variable flash rate.
• HDCP Error screen (Purple Screen) is sometimes not shown when the Encoder is set to no HDCP advertisement and an HDCP device is connected. A black screen is seen instead.
• Deleting a Host or Local Play image. The unit will need to be rebooted to reclaim the storage.
