Do I need to use Java supported by Oracle for RMS?
As of RMS 4.8.x OpenJDK is also supported. OpenJDK is a release from Oracle, as-is with no support. Oracle, with a paid subscription, does provide support of their most current and select previous Java releases. For either Oracle's supported version or OpenJDK, be sure to install the required version for RMS.
