Question:
If Windows Region settings use a comma as a Decimal Symbol then speaker tunings which use FIR filters will result in loud pink noise on outputs of Crown CDi DriveCore, DCi and DSi2 amplifiers. This affects Windows running with Region settings for most of continental Europe that use a comma as decimal separator.
This has been confirmed on all versions of HiQnet Audio Architect up to the current V2.55.3. This issue will be addressed in future releases.
Answer:
- Close Audio Architect
- Open Windows Control Panel and double-click: Region
- In the Formats tab, click: Additional settings…
- Enter a period in the field: Decimal symbol
- Launch Audio Architect and send parameters to amplifier
