Release Date
January 27, 2026
- For best results in the DCiDA amplifier both the HiQnet Audio Architect DCiG host firmware and the Dante firmware must be updated to the versions above.
Prerequisites:
- Audio Architect v2.55.3 or higher
- Dante Controller v4.17.1.1 or higher
Programming Information:
- Install DCiG firmware using Audio Architect.
If the firmware version is not already available in Audio Architect, it may be added by copying the BND file to C:\Program Files\Harman Pro\Audio Architect <version>\FirmwareUpdates, for example C:\Program Files\Harman Pro\Audio Architect 2.55\FirmwareUpdates .
Audio Architect must be restarted if it was open when the file was added
For more info see: - Install Dante firmware using Dante Updater included with Dante Controller.
If not already available via the Dante firmware database, the DNT file needed must be imported into Dante Updater.

Dante Firmware Previous Releases
Changes in Crown v1.19.0/Dante 4.2.3.13 (August 9, 2023):
- Added additional support for Dante Domain Manager, Dante Director, bug fixes and support for new hardware changes.
- Telnet is disabled.
- Reboot from Dante Controller is disabled.
- When clearing config, Keep Network Configuration cannot be unchecked.
Changes in Crown v1.12.0/Dante 4.0.7.8 (September 17, 2019):
- Dante Device ID is corrected. DCiDA amps will no longer accept Sound London Dante firmware when Dante Updater isn't in Manufacturer Override mode.
- Dante Connection status now updates correctly in Audio Architect.
Known Issues:
- If multiple amplifiers have the same Dante hostname on the network, for example DCiDA, then only one will be recognized in Dante Controller.
Workaround: connect only one amp at a time and be sure to give it a unique hostname (aka device name) before connecting another. - Some settings in Dante Controller may revert after a few seconds, for example, changing the device name or AES67 Enabled setting.
Workaround: Try again. Be sure to wait 15-20 seconds before leaving the tab and changing anything else. - There are two separate files for DCiDA Dante firmware. One for DCi4x1250DA/DCi8x600DA, and one for DCi4x600DA/DCI4x300DA/DCi8x300DA. The only difference in the two files is the order of the Dante Primary and Secondary ports.
- The correct versions of both DNT files were initially included with Audio Architect 2.25.1, build date 9/17/2019.
- The DCi4x600DA/DCI4x300DA/DCi8x300DA DNT files included with Audio Architect v2.45.0 and v2.45.1 were incorrect and would swap the Dante Primary and Secondary ports.
- The DCi4x600DA/DCI4x300DA/DCi8x300DA DNT files included with Audio Architect v2.45.2 and higher are correct and do not have the port swap problem.
- DCiDA amplifiers with earlier versions of Harman International/Dante firmware must be updated to Crown/Dante firmware by putting Dante Updater into Manufacturer Override mode.
