Description:

Available to any Soundweb OMNI processor, Multi-Band Dynamic Meters provide a quick method to visually monitor signals within the VIRTUAL view of AVX Architect.

To enable Multi-Band Dynamic Meters, first select the processor in the SYSTEM View. 

In the PROPERTIES pane on the right, the Dynamic Meter Style option can be found under the AUDIO section. 

This option changes dynamic meters between Multi-Band and Single-Band. 

The number of available pinned dynamic meters can also be set underneath; however, it is important to note that additional dynamic meters will utilize more DSP resources.

Once Multi-Band Meters have been enabled, hovering over any wire in the VIRTUAL view displays a visual RTA representation of that object block’s output. 

In this example, a noise generator feeds through a crossover to remove high frequencies, and this adjustment is reflected in the meters. 

Clicking the pin icon on the meter locks the meter in place on the wire, ensuring it remains constantly visible. 

Multiple meters can be pinned, up to the amount specified in the AUDIO PROPERTIES.
