Logic Ethernet Trigger:
The Logic Ethernet Trigger can be found in the Logic End catagory of the VIRTUAL LIBRARY in AVX Architect.

The Logic Ethernet Trigger is used to send custom messages through one of the Ethernet ports on the rear panel of the Soundweb OMNI device.
The Logic Ethernet Trigger does not include a control panel. All settings are configured under OPTIONS in the PROPERTIES window.

The IP Address option specifies the IP address of the target device for message transmission. Loopback addresses and the address of the London device itself are not valid entries.

The Mode of Operation option allows switching between Table or List modes.

List mode supports two messages per input—one for a LOW input and one for a HIGH input.
Table mode treats inputs as binary, allowing a greater number of states.
The Number of Inputs option is selectable from 1 to 12 in Table mode and from 1 to 31 in List mode.

The Port option specifies the IP port number on the receiving device.

Type option selects between TCP or UDP protocol.

Selecting the Ethernet Table opens the table interface.

Messages for each state can be entered by double-clicking under Serial.

A dropdown menu allows selection of the message format: decimal, hexadecimal, or ASCII.

A transition from LOW to HIGH on the Connect input node prompts the OMNI device to attempt socket creation using the specified Ethernet address, port number, and protocol type defined in the OPTIONS section.

The Connected output illuminates when a TCP connection is established and messages can be sent to the target device.

Socket timeouts may take several minutes to clear after disconnection if the remote socket drops offline without sending a close message. To ensure reconnection, toggle the Connect node LOW and then HIGH again. This action forces the Omni device to request a new socket connection and updates the Connected status.
Some devices require messages to include a printable ASCII string followed by an unprintable ASCII character, such as a carriage return. The recommended method for entering this type of data is to begin in ASCII mode and then switch to Hex or Decimal mode. Enter the printable ASCII characters and press Enter.

Use the dropdown menu to select Hex or Decimal, then append the carriage return (Decimal 13 or Hex 0D) to the message.

Switching between ASCII and Decimal modes will confirm the presence of the carriage return character.
