Description:
Presets represent a collection of parameters that can easily be recalled to specified values.
To begin working with Presets, open the Presets Window by selecting the button located in the top-right corner of the workspace.

The Presets Window will initially be empty.

Add a Preset Group by pressing the plus icon and selecting Add Preset Group.
The new Preset Group will appear in the list with a single preset.

The Preset Group is the collection of parameters that will be modified when the preset is recalled.
Once the Preset Group is created, rename it as needed. Right-click a Preset Group to access Delete, Rename, or Add Preset options.

For example, name the group Gains.

Next, add parameters to this group. Parameters can be added directly from the object's factory panel by enabling selection mode, right-clicking the parameter, and selecting Add to Preset Group.

A window will appear with a drop-down menu to select the newly created group, then click Save.

The gain parameter will now display in the Presets window within the Preset Group.

To add all parameters of a gain object, right-click the object and select Add to Preset Group as before.

This action will include all remaining parameters in the Preset Group. The values stored for the preset are the values they were when the Preset was created. In this case, the gains are all at unity.

If any of these gains are adjusted and the Recall button is used to load the preset, they will reset to unity.

To change a parameter value, set the parameter to the new value and click the Update button in the Presets Window.

Create a new preset by right-clicking on the Preset Group and selecting Add Preset.

For example, one preset may have gains at unity, while the other preset sets all gains to -10 d B. After adjusting all gains to -10 d B, click the Update button in the Presets window.

A prompt will request confirmation of the change to the preset.

The updated values will then appear in the list.

The gains will adjust when toggling between the two presets using the Recall button.

In the Presets window, single or multiple parameters can be removed by selecting them using the checkbox and then selecting Delete in the bottom-right corner.

The removed gain will no longer be affected by recalling the preset.

Another Preset Group can be created by right-clicking the object and selecting Create New Preset Group. For example, name this group PEQ.

An object's parameters can exist in multiple Preset Groups. Right-click the gain object, select Add to Preset Group, and add it to the newly created PEQ group.

In the Presets window, the Gain object's parameters will now appear in both the Gains group and the PEQ group.

The last button next to Update in the Presets window opens the Preset Panel. The Preset Panel contains Recall and Update buttons, a Last Recalled state indicator, and Preset Names.

These elements can all be used in Control Panels by enabling the selection mode switch.
