Description:
The Delay is found in the virtual view within the audio processing objects. It is a basic delay used for delaying an audio signal by a predetermined time or distance without affecting the signal in any other way.

Double clicking on the Delay object will open the factory panel.
The controls for the delay are very simple, and the delay time is presented in three different units. These units are time, shown in milliseconds, and distance, shown by meters and feet/inches. The value can be typed in directly, or by using the bump up and down buttons. These units will always reflect the same delay time, so changing any unit will also change the others in tandem.

At the top of the factory panel, is the usual object name, lock button, and selection mode switch.

On the right, the PROPERTIES window has the typical naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation options available with all objects.

The OPTIONS section contains the channel count of the object block. The maximum delay time can also be set here in the OPTIONS section, up to a maximum of 100 seconds. For example, this could be useful for limiting delay time if users are allowed delay control from a custom panel.
