- A feature request was submitted by an integrator to extend the maximum timing parameter between serial/control power commands on the Jetpack JPK-1300 platform. In historical firmware configurations, the delay setting between "Command 1" and "Command 2" (typically used to manage sequential power-on string execution for external displays or projectors) was structurally capped at 2000 ms (2 seconds).
- For custom system environments utilizing premium hardware such as high-end laser projectors, an installation requires a significantly longer warm-up or stabilization period before a secondary control command can be successfully interpreted or accepted. To accommodate this requirement, engineering updated the command configuration framework to support an expanded parameter ceiling of up to 60000 ms (60 seconds) . This expanded timing window is fully implemented in production firmware release v1.04.07.
Troubleshooting:
- To confirm if an installation can leverage extended power-on command timing or to update a locked system constraint:
- Verify Current Delay Ceiling: Navigate to the device configuration Web UI or check systemic properties via Telnet terminal query. Attempt to force a delay parameter larger than 2000 ms between initial control sequences. If the configuration inputs systematically reject the value or hard-clamp back down to 2 seconds, the system is running legacy software.
- Review Formatting Architecture: Note that when writing custom command timings, the parameter value must remain designated strictly in milliseconds (ms). The scale cannot be shifted directly to base seconds within the raw code syntax, as doing so would cause destructive backward-compatibility breaks for pre-existing system deployments.
- Deploy Firmware Upgrade: Download and flash firmware version v1.04.07 (or subsequent updates) onto the JPK-1300. This release completely updates the upper boundary restriction, enabling valid millisecond input entries all the way up to 60000 ms.
