Question:
What are the different output modes?
Answer:
There are three output modes. “Stereo" (Dual), “Parallel", “Bridged"
Stereo (Dual) Mode:
On the back panel, set the output mode switch to STEREO. Wire the speakers to the binding post connectors or the Speakon connectors. Each channel will have its own gain control on the front of the amp.
Parallel Mode:
On the back panel, set the output mode switch to PARALLEL. Wire the speakers to the binding post connectors or the Speakon connectors. Each channel will have its own gain control on the front of the amp. A signal sent to one of the input connectors is paralleled to both channels.
Bridged Mode:
On the back panel, set the output mode switch to BRIDGED. Wire the speakers to the binding post connectors or the Speakon connectors.
Only channel 1 gain control on the front of the amp works in bridge-mono mode. Both output channels of the amp are bridged together to form one mono output of double power from the two dual amps. The channel 1 (+) is the speaker (+) and the channel 2 (+) is now the speaker (-).
