ViSi Remote Has No Mute Group Buttons
ViSi Remote doesn't have any mute group buttons available, so it is impossible to mute channels as a group.
You Can Use VCA Mutes As Mute Group
- ViSi Remote does not have any mute groups available to use. However, VCA mutes are available on ViSi Remote.
- VCA mutes physically mute each channel associated with the VCA group. We can use this as a way to mute channels in ViSi Remote.
- This guide will show how to assign channels to a VCA and show how muting the VCA will physically mute the associated channels.
- This feature is available on Si Performer and Si Impact, but not on Si Expression as it does not have the VCA group feature.
Setup
- Create the VCA group by selecting Setup and VCA, then select the VCA you wish to create/edit.
- Select each channel you want in the VCA group.
- Once you have selected all the required channels, turn off the Setup when done.

- The mutes on the VCA group will physically mute and unmute any channels in that VCA group.

In the example below, you can see that turning OFF the VCA group “Drums/Bass" mutes the associated channels.

Here you see that turning ON the “Drums/Bass" VCA group unmutes the associated channels.

Using this method you can have grouped control of mutes on the Si Performer and Si Impact.
