LONDON ARCHITECT Using the IP Settings Tool
Table of Contents
Introduction:
The London IP Tool.exe is a PC tool that allows the user to set the IP address of a device using the device's MAC address. This is useful if you don’t know the IP address of the device or the device is outside the range of the PC and is not visible in Netsetter or London Architect.
Using the Tool:
The London IP Tool is installed with Hi QNet London Architect. If you don’t have London Architect, you can download it here: https://bssaudio.com/en-US/software
Once you install London Architect, you can find the tool under the Help>Run Utilities>IP Settings.

Since it is a standalone application, you can also launch it by going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Harman Pro\London IP Settings.exe.

Once you launch the application you are able to set the IP address by entering the MAC address of the device. The Mac address can be found on the back of each unit on a sticker. Enter the MAC Address in the MAC Address field. Note the colons are not required

Now you can set the IP settings for the device accordingly. If you check the box for Auto IP the device will ignore the address in the IP Address field and try to obtain automatically.
Press the send button to send the settings to the devices.

The Device Node network address will fill in with the last four digits of the MAC address. This can changed later when the device is matched.

In this case we can see the device took the IP address and is now visible in Netsetter.
