This article provides a concise overview of the rear panel features of the Soundweb OMNI 256p and OMNI 512p Digital Signal Processors.

Each DSP unit is equipped with dual redundant power supplies, Dante, and HControl ports.

The OMNI 512p includes two pairs of Dante ports to support 512 channels at 96k.

When configured to operate at 96k, the A and B connections each handle 256 channels and appear as two separate devices within the Dante Controller. For further details, refer to the related articles on Dante.
Activation of the Locate button initiates flashing of the LEDs on the front panel of the processor.

This visual cue is mirrored within AVX Manager, and the button press may also be used to initiate logic sequences and events.
A USB connection is present on the rear panel of each processor.

This port currently serves no functional purpose for general operation and is reserved exclusively for service and repair technicians.
Both processors feature BNC Wordclock input and output connections.

The BNC input maintains the highest priority, and the Wordclock Out remains continuously available. A detailed discussion of this functionality will be presented in another article.
The GPIO section includes eight GPIO ports, two ground connections, and two 5V reference connections.

Ventilation for these processors is located on the rear panel, with airflow directed from front to back. This configuration differs from the OMNI Expanders, which feature side-mounted vents.
