SOUNDWEB LONDON Ethernet Ports Used

Soundweb London device use the following ports and protocols:
- 3804 TCP & UDP : Hi Qnet device discovery and communication (Broadcast and Unicast)
- 21 TCP : FTP for loading Configuration, loading firmware and transferring event logs
- 49152-50152 TCP : FTP transfer ephemeral ports
- 1023 TCP : London DI messages (for 3rd party control)
- 23 TCP : Telnet
Ports for Hi Qnet (3804) and FTP (21 and 49152) need to be opened.
FTP transfers use ephemeral ports 49152‐50152. Port 49152 will always be used if only one PC is online. Ports 49152 and 49153 will be used if two PCs are online.
Ports required for VPN:
- 3804 TCP
- 3804 UDP
- 21 TCP
- 49152 to 50152 TCP
Dante enabled devices use the following IPv4 ranges and UDP ports.
Except for Unicast Audio, these are Multicast IP addresses.
- 224.0.0.251:5353 - m DNS
- 224.0.0.230-232:8007-8706 - Control and monitoring
- 224.0.1.129-132:319-320 - PTP (Precision Time Protocol)
- 239.255.0.0/16:4321 - Multicast Audio
- 239.xxx.0.0/16:5004 - AES67 Multicast Audio
- RX Unicast IP:14336-14600 - Unicast Audio
