Overview:

This tech support guide will show you how to download Martin companion to run the  3D parts finder to run inline with the solid works composer.

Downloading Martin Companion

• Head over to the Martin .com webpage - https://www.martin.com/en/products/companion-desktop#downloads
• Click downloads and then click software.
• Then click on the Companion desktop windows 2.2.2 software'
• Then click download as follows  
• You will be asked to allow the computer to make changes to install, accept this to install
• Once downloaded to the computer you can now set up the application.

Setting up the Martin companion on your device

• You should now have it installed and be prompted a warning message regarding companion cable compatibility.

1. Click Next
2. Read and accept the License agreement.
3. Click next on the next page.
4. You will be asked to create a desktop shortcut, tick the box and click next.
5. Finally you will be asked to install, go ahead and click install.
6. Once installed click finish
7. This will now open the Martin  Companion and ask you about the cloud Sync settings.
8. We suggest to click Auto-download on both the firmware's and the Part finder files to eliminate any data not been synced.
9. Once this is complete you have fully installed the Martin companion.
