Answer:
Yes, the cable can be updated. Here are the steps:
- Close the companion app.
- Disconnect the cable.
- Press the reset pinhole in the middle of the cable, there's a small hole on the side.
- Open the companion app, click on tools, then select update companion cable.
- Select the firmware version to update.
- Press the reset pin hole on the cable (it's in the middle controller on the cable, on the sides).
- While holding the reset button, reconnect the cable back to the computer.
- Once connected to the computer, release the reset button and click update on the Martin Companion.
