Why does RPM Loader fail to transfer?

Answer:

Some people have experienced file transfers failing when using RPM Loader. This most often happens when both the PC and Netlinx processor are using Link Local addresses (169.254.x.x). Link local addresses are IP addresses that a device will default to when set for DHCP but do not have a DHCP server assigning addresses. To avoid this, make sure to assign a static IP to both devices that are in the same IP range, or make sure that there is a DHCP server assigning addresses to both devices.
