Question:
How to recover a PRX900 speaker after a failed firmware update?
Answer:
A firmware update may have failed due to an interruption in power or closure of JBL Pro Connect app during upload. The LCD will display the message shown below. In this state, the JBL Pro Connect app will request confirmation of a validation code.

The speaker can be recovered using the following procedure.
- Close the JBL Pro Connect app.
- Unplug the power connection from the speaker. Wait two minutes.
- Launch the JBL Pro Connect app and ensure that it is running fully.
- Plug the power connection into the speaker.
- The speaker should now be discovered by the app and should pair without requesting confirmation for a validation code.
- Proceed with firmware update as normal.
