I've got an amp module for my PRX900 series subwoofer, but it does not match my model type. Is there any way to reprogram the amplifier?

Answer:

The PRX900 series subwoofers are sharing the same amp module (5135054-00 or 5137452-00 depending on your location), but they have different firmware versions for the PRX915XLF and the PRX918XLF built in version. If you have received a spare part for your powered speaker and the pre-set firmware version does not match the speaker model, follow the steps below.

Press and hold the "MAIN/MENU" and the "POLARITY" button until the LCD screen powers off.
Once the speaker reboots, select the correct model with the "MAIN/MENU" encoder (PRX915XLF or PRX918XLF).
After the selection is made, the LCD will return to its default screen showing the correct speaker model.

Caution:

Selecting the incorrect speaker model could cause damage to the amplifier or drivers. Please ensure the correct model is selected!
