To resolve firmware update hang-ups when updating your EON One MK2:
Ensure your JBL Pro Connect app is updated to version 2.3.1 (or version 2.03.01 and higher), which contains the official software fix for this issue.
Android App Workaround (If on an older app version): If you are experiencing update failures on older versions of the app, Android users can temporarily sideload/downgrade to JBL Pro Connect app version 2.2 to successfully push the firmware update, then update the app back to the latest version.
Firmware Check: Ensure the speaker updates completely to firmware version v5.3.2.0 (released May 20, 2025), which stabilizes connection and control features.
