Question:
How to Disable/Enable SVSI encoder/decoder webpage?
Answer:
N3000/N2400 Series
I use Packet Sender for SSL - requires CR \r
https://packetsender.com/
Can use any TCP client that supports SSL.
- Send these commands to encoder or decoder on port 50101 or 50102 over SSL. Change password to the correct password if changed from default.
password\rwebPageEnable\r
password\rwebPageDisable\r
For N3000/N2400 Series, N-able will give the following message for unit with disabled webpage after double clicking unit:

N2600/N3300 Series
I use Packet Sender for SSL - requires CR \r
https://packetsender.com/
Can use any TCP client that supports SSL.
- Send this command to encoder or decoder on port 50101 or 50102 over SSL. Change password to the correct password if changed from default.
password\rwebPageDisable\r
N2600/N3300 only the Disable command will work. Once disabled, users will need to factory restore unit to enable the webpage.
Can factory restore by sending API command setSettings:factoryRestore:factoryRestore to port 50001 or 50002
Or by holding down the ID button on unit until Status led goes out (approx. 30 secs).
N1000/N2000/N2300 Series
Not Supported. No webpage disable/enable available for these series.
Additional Information:
- One good security measure on SVSI products - is to disable the webpage when it's not in use. So PHP doesn't have to be sitting on the network always available for security scans.
