Can the N1122A and N1133A stream to Older N1000 Series?
Answer:
If you have older N1000 decoders and would like to add the new generation N1000 units (N1122A or N1133A) to your network, you will need to disable encryption on the N1122A/N1133A. This can be completed by opening the N-ABLE software and locating the encoder and disabling encryption. At the bottom right of the encoder's window you will find an encrypted check box, this is where you will disable it. Next, from the settings menu, select Advanced Settings disable Minimal Proprietary Compression (MPC). The encoder will reboot, and you will be able to stream across the existing network.
