Entering the information required for LDAP to function in the setting section of the server
The information above can be gathered from the LDAP server (example below)
Local Account
After configuring the server you must create the local user account on the n-command server. The n-command username must match exactly as it is in LDAP, you will not enter a password on this unit. It is stored in LDAP
Validating
Provided you followed the steps above you should be ready to login. If there is a failure and the username and password is correct you will need to review the security logs on the ldap server
In the case above you can see that the server did not like the username or password. The account exists so the password was bad (It was purposefully entered incorrectly password for this screen shot.)
