In this video, we’ll continue to explore the Virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the Logic Locate Object. Logic Locate is found in the Virtual view, under the “Begin” section of the Logic processing objects. Logic Locate gives a high or low output depending on the state of the LOCATE button on the rear panel of the device. The output of the Logic Locate will remain high as long as the LOCATE button is pressed. The light on the logic object design block indicates the current state of the output. This can be used to trigger an event from the Locate button on the rear of the device.
The Logic Locate object has no factory panel. All the parameters available for this object are found on the right, in the “Properties” window. The “Properties” window has the usual naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation settings. There are no additional Options for the Logic Locate object.
