Page Flip - Parameter Bindings | UI Design View - AVX Architect
In this tutorial, we cover the Page Flip parameter in the UI Design view of AVX Architect. Page Flip is used to switch between pages in custom panels and controllers, enabling dynamic navigation in your user interfaces. Learn how to associate Page Flip with a Button, and see a practical example of switching pages and indicating the active page using Button styling.

In this video, we’re going to continue expanding on the UI Design view and create page flip navigation controls using buttons. The objective is to have buttons in our custom control panels that can be pressed to load other pages for the control panel.
In this example, I’ve already set up a control panel with 3 pages, and each page has text at the top to indicate to us which page is selected. I’ve also already set 3 buttons on this page. Each button is set to momentary, with the same on and off colors, and labels changed to indicate the page numbers. If you have a multi-page control panel, then the Page Flip parameter will be available in the Parameters Tree under the Interface section. This Page flip parameter can only be bound to a button or to a region object. Drag it from the Parameters Tree onto the buttons. Once done, the Parameter Bindings section of the right pane will display the page flip options. Use this drop-down to associate each button with its respective page.
With the Page Flip set, go ahead and copy the buttons to each of the other pages. Now, we should go ahead and create a way to indicate which page is currently selected using the buttons. One simple way to do this is to change the On and Off colors for the currently active page. Let’s make this button green for this active page and then repeat for the other two pages. Now, launch the panel and let’s see the page flip buttons in action.
