Summary:
AMX Varia touch panels running firmware 2.13.24 or 2.13.25 exhibited a fault where multi state buttons configured with general/“Always On” feedback stopped animating after a reboot, impacting UI responsiveness. The issue was replicated and confirmed to persist with the referenced app on 2.13.25, while buttons using “Momentary” feedback continued to operate normally. The matter was submitted to engineering for review and subsequently progressed for resolution. Fixed in firmware 2.13.27 and later. As a temporary mitigation prior to updating, configure affected buttons to use “Momentary” feedback.
Troubleshooting:
Update the VARIA firmware to version 2.13.27 or later.
