I have a PRX900 series speaker in which the crossover functions seem to not be working correctly, it seems that the speaker is working in full-range mode. What could cause an issue like this? Is this hardware related or a software issue?
Answer:
Generally speaking, it could be both, but the best method to work your way through this is to try resetting the speaker by pressing the "Main/Menu" and the "Back" buttons for about 10 seconds, until the channel lights begin to flash red. The unit will power off, then back on again. The reset is now complete.

If this didn't help, the second step would be to check the firmware version of the unit. You should update to the most current available version to avoid any possibility of a prior bug. To update the firmware, connect the speaker to the JBL Pro Connect application.
