Can you use a PR01-0808 to feed a WP-412?
Answer:
It is possible to send groups of 4 outputs from a Precis series switcher to feed into the PR-WP-412. This may require adding a small WAIT 2 between sequential switches to ensure that the front panel, webgui, and Netlinx stay in sync. This typically works better than trying to send all switches at the same time. Also, if you are experiencing some longer switch times when sending video to the PR-WP-412, it will switch more cleanly and quickly if the upstream sources are already scaled. When the PR-WP-412 has an upstream switcher, and has to sync all the video simultaneously, it can lead to longer switching times. If the inputs to the PR-WP-412 are pre-scaled to the same output resolution (such as using the SCL-1) then the switching will be much quicker.
