My MAC Viper series fixture has 3 wire lamp fans installed the replacement spare part is a 4 wire fan is it correct?

Answer:

The MAC Viper series now uses 4 wire fans for the lamp cooling, the black converter from 3 to 4 wire fan is no longer needed as the 4 wire fans can connect directly to fan pcb.

3 wire fan left (3 to 4 wire converter visible)

4 wire fan right

3 wire fan right (3 to 4 wire converter visible)
