Overview:
Custom entries allow the DSP to log customized events that can be used in troubleshooting issues. This is done using the Logic End object.
Example:
In this example, we will use the Event Log to write an event when the audio on an input falls below a set level.
For this example, we have a tone generator on a console that is fed analog to the input of the DSP. In the processor, we can run this to a Meter Trigger.

Set the reference on the Meter Trigger to the minimum value that we want to represent for the audio being on.
Linking the Trigger LED to the Logic Source
Now link the Trigger on the Meter Trigger to a Logic Source and tie the Logic Source to a Logic End. While offline drag the Trigger Indicator LED on to the Logic Source. (Audio Architect users hold CTRL while dragging. London Architect users just have to be in design mode).
In Audio Architect:
- Hold CTRL and Left Click Drag the indicator to the Logic Source object.

In London Architect:
- Left Click Drag the indicator to the Logic Source object.

Changing the Parameter Values of the Logic End
In the logic end Custom Events, we can type in Audio is On for the High value and Audio is Off for the Log value.
In Audio Architect:
- In the Properties section, Select the Custom Events tab.
- Select Click to Enter Custom Events.

In London Architect:
- In the Properties window, scroll down to the Custom Events section.

Load the file and check the Log
Now go online and load the processor. The DSP will now log an Audio is OFF event with a time and date if our input level falls below 0 dB. This can be very useful when troubleshooting an intermittent issue where a problem may not occur in a timely manner.
