My 70v system audio intermittently changes volume or cuts out completely. Why is this happening?
Most likely you are using an inline volume controller between the amplifier and the speakers. These devices tend to have input power ratings that are much lower than the rated output of the amplifier and get destroyed over time as a result. We recommend controlling volume via the input of the amplifier, and having discrete amplifier channels for any multi-zone system.
