Summary:
Customers have reported receiving a batch of EON 208P speakers where the rubber feet on the bottom of the enclosure appear white. This was initially suspected to be mold growth, possibly caused by extended storage.
The appearance suggests that moisture exposure may be a contributing factor, potentially due to not enough desiccant in the packaging to properly absorb humidity. See images for reference:

Troubleshooting:
The Quality team confirmed that this is a normal characteristic of the rubber material used. The white residue is known as “bloom,” which happens when certain ingredients from the rubber, such as curing agents or oils rise to the surface over time. This is a common issue that does not impact the performance or durability of the rubber, but only its appearance. It could be cleaned with non-reactive rubber or automotive plastic conditioners.
