Why are some DSP cards showing a yellow IDLE status LED?
The yellow IDLE LED indicates that the DSP card is not currently being used by the system.
On Vi5000/Vi7000 systems running at 48 kHz, not all installed DSP cards are required. DSP cards that are not needed for the current configuration will show a yellow IDLE status LED.
This is normal behavior and does not indicate a fault with the DSP card or the console.
If the system is configured to operate at 96 kHz, additional DSP resources are required and more DSP cards will become active.
