How do I access or use the 3d parts finder on the Martin companion 2.2.0

Answer:

To access the 3d parts finder on the Martin companion you need to firstly download the free version of the solid works composer player from -  https://www.solidworks.com/support/free-downloads

Then go ahead and download the Solid works composer player add in, example below.

Now that is downloaded also go to www.martin.com and download the Martin companion 2.2.0 from the product types tab, then tools section and then software tools tab.

Now when you have downloaded both the Martin companion and the solid works composer you can now open up the Martin companion and make sure you click (Auto-Download latest only) to have it auto sync with the new products been added in real time when opening the Martin companion to use.

Now choose the product you require, once fully synced the example hear will be the (Mac Viper XIP for example), so firstly go to the Parts finder TAB.

Then choose the product and what part of the fixture you would like to explore in this case it is the (Projection module).

Then click on open component or export the component to view the exploded views.

You should now be able to see the 3d parts finder files like this on all listed products within the companion 2.2.0.

Additional Information:

• Companion 3d parts finder will not work without solid works composer downloaded
• Make sure you sync the Martin companion to access the up to date products added
