• Unzip the files to a USB key in the root directory, you should have three files: 
  • yourconsolename.bin
  • info.xml
  • Faderv1_1Build13.hex
• Switch the console off using the POWER key (or power switch on Si Impact).
• Press and hold the POWER key for approx 5 seconds, a SOFTWARE LOADER screen will appear

• (For Si Impact, hold down Boot Loader button, then turn on power switch while holding button until SOFTWARE LOADER screen appears)

• Insert the USB stick and then press the MENU key.
• If the fader firmware requires updating this will be prompted on the touch screen; follow on-screen instructions for this process.
• Select the INFO.XML file using the scroll/adjust encoder, the LOAD button at the bottom right of the touch screen window will appear when a valid selection is made.

• Press the LOAD button. Software will begin loading.
• Wait until both progress bars have reached 100%, and the 'tick' symbol has appeared to the right of each progress bar, before removing the USB stick.

NOTE:

• Always follow on-screen instructions as the process may vary if the software on your console is more than 1 release old.

The following procedure will restore the console back to the factory defaults.

NOTE: All settings, cues, users, profiles and shows will be lost.

1. Starting with the console off, hold the POWER key for ~5 seconds until the console starts
2. Press the MENU key once the loader screen appears.
3. Press the LR, MONO and FX1 keys together, this opens the update page.
4. Press the CLEAR SD CARD button on the touch screen.
5. Restart the console.

• Start with the console powered off.
• Connect a wireless router via CAT5 from the non-networking (aux) ports to the HiQnet port on the back of the console.
• Power up the console and select SYSTEM from the main display.
• Make sure the IP Address & Subnet Mask fields are populated (Not all 0's).

• Select HIQNET from the main display.
• Make sure that Access Control is enabled.
• On your iPad, go to settings, scroll down to ViSi Remote, select it, & write down the iPad's HiQnet Address.

• One the console, under HIQNET scroll down to Device 1 & set its access to ALL.

• With Device 1 highlighted select the ADDRESS ASSIGN button & enter in your iPad's HiQnet address (must be different than the console's HiQnet Address).

• On the iPad open the ViSi Remote App, console should automatically come up as an option select your console.
• If you have issues, force close the app on iPad or just restart iPad.

This will show how to setup an external wireless router and enable the access control for clients

• Connect a Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable to the HiQnet port on the rear of the mixer, not to any other RJ45 jack such as MADI or DANTE.

• Connect the other end of the cable to the router. 
• Make sure to use one of the router's LAN or switch ports, NOT the WAN or Internet port.

• On the mixer press the MENU button to bring up the MAIN MENU screen, select SYSTEM.

• Although you can set a static IP address in the mixer, we do not need the address to connect with ViSi Remote or ViSi Listen because they watch for a “beacon" from mixer. 
• For this reason, it is easiest to leave IP Address Resolution to DHCP mode and let the router assign an address. 
• Check under Network in the SYSTEM window to see if the mixer is set for DHCP and that you have a good address. 
• If no address is displayed, restart the mixer.

• Press the MENU button to get back to the MAIN MENU screen.
• Select HiQnet.

• In the screen shot below, Access Control is Disabled. 
• This will allow any ViSi Listen app to connect and operate any mix. 
• It will allow any instance of ViSi Remote to operate as well.

• Before enabling Access Control, we need to find the actual HiQnet Address of the apps that we want to give access.
• On the iPad, go to iPad settings, then scroll down on the left side menu towards the bottom until you see ViSi Remote. 
• Click on it to open its properties page. Make sure Local Network is ENABLED. 
• Here you will see the HiQnet Address of the app. 
• Make note of this address.

• ViSi Listen will show the HiQnet Address on the Settings page.

• This will limit operation of the mixer with ViSi Remote to only allowed app instances, and limit ViSi Listen apps to just the mix that is allowed (or all mixes if so set). 
• Scroll to a device you wish to enable and click on ADDRESS ASSIGN.

• Enter the address of the app you want to allow access to the mixer. 
• Here we are adding the iPad's ViSi Remote address. 
• After typing in the address, hit the APPLY button to take effect.

• On the HiQnet window, scroll to a device (there are 10 devices allowed in total), then press the scroll wheel to open the Mix selection. 
• Scroll to the mix you want to allow. 
• Selecting ALL when using ViSi Remote allows for unrestricted mixing capability. 
• Once the selection is made, press the scroll wheel to select.

• The screen shot below shows the ViSi Remote [Device 1] is given ALL access and two ViSi Listen apps with just a single mix allowed per app instance.

• The example below shows ViSi Listen opened with its address set to 254, you see that the app is limited to Mix 2 as assigned in the mixer.

• This should get you up and mixing with both ViSi Remote and ViSi Listen on the Si mixer, with full control of Mix assignments per app.

In order to reset the administrator password on a Soundcraft Si Series console and put the security settings to default, you will need to do the following:

• Put the console into boot/software loader mode, in order to do this you just need to hold down the flashing power button until the screen begins to illuminate (Screen should indicate that it is in software/boot loader mode)

•  Si Impacts have a bootloader button on the back of the console that will need to be engaged as you power on the console

• Select the LR button, as you are holding that button down, then select the Mono button, and finally while you're holding both the LR and Mono buttons, select the FX1 button.

• You should see a Software Update screen with nothing in the list (see photo)

• Repeat Step 2.
• Screen should now show your SD card (MMC) with all its folders, scroll down the list of folders until you see a folder named Security.
• Highlight the security folder and delete it. This should get rid of any administrator password settings.

• Power down console and reboot as normal.

• If the unit is not powered off, power off the unit by holding the power button down for approximately 5 seconds. Once the button is flashing, push it again to power the unit off.  
• With the unit being turned off and the power button slowly flashing, hold the button for approximately 5 seconds.  
• The LCD screen comes on and the screen will show the software loader menu.  
• If the desk is a Soundcraft Si Impact, instead of the power button, you will need to use the “bootloader" button on the back of the unit.  

• The first test mode is the touch screen test. Press and hold LR and MONO button and tap the FX2 button.  

• Touch screen test: Tap touch screen and follow the white button on the screen, keep tapping the screen as the display goes through different patterns & colors. (Last screen is the vertical color lines).  
• The second test mode is the surface tests.  
• Press and hold LR and MONO button and tap the FX3 button.  

• Use the scroll knob to move in the menu and press scroll knob to select test function.  
• Go through the list and check each function. In the surface test, there are two key checks: the all LEDs ON and fader position test.  
  • All LEDs ON will show you if any LEDs have gone bad.  
  • The fader position test will show if any faders are not moving or moving slowly compared to the rest that will need to be replaced.  
• If the unit's SD Card (internal memory) needs to be cleared/reformatted, please follow instructions below.  (If the unit locked out and customer can't remember password, please also follow this procedure).  

• Press and hold LR and MONO button and tap the FX1 button, once.  
• Then repeat, press and hold LR and MONO button and tap the FX1 button to see the Format SD Card button on the display.  
• Tapping to this option is going to clear the SD card.  

Even when following all instructions, Copy and Paste does not work in Si Offline Editor for Expression, Performer, or Impact.

The text on the buttons in the offline editor are inverted. So Copy shows up for Paste and Paste shows up for Copy. 

Here is the workaround:

• Select source channel with SEL button.

• Open Menu and press Copy/Paste button (Copy/Paste screen will open with 'Paste' mode selected on the button, this actually means 'Copy').

• Filter the copy/paste items if required by deselecting what you don't want to paste using the on-screen icons (These cannot be changed once you switch to Copy mode).

• Press on the PASTE button to change it to 'Copy' mode (which actually means 'Paste').

• Use the SEL buttons of other channels to paste the settings.

• Press the Menu button again to finish Copy/Paste operation.

Please update your console firmware to the current release and it will fix the problem.​  

You can only access outputs and inputs if you have the item selected, like an input channel or an output buss.  Select the output or input you want to change and then the corresponding selection will be available.

If you're trying to route for recording, the direct out patch is found on the Input Patching screen.​

From preliminary testing with an M1 MacBook Pro on Big Sur 11.3,  Si series mixers appear to be fully functional.

The mixer must be connected to a dedicated wireless router with no other network traffic (other than the iPads that are controlling/accessing the console).  HiQnet is a proprietary protocol that, due to its nature, must not have any other traffic on the network with the mixer, as that traffic can cause lockups with the mixer's connection.  VLAN is not supported either, as this has been tried numerous times but also doesn't work correctly.  The mixer can be configured to connect to the router either via DHCP or manually, but if choosing to do it manually, make sure the IP address programmed on the console is in the range (ie: subnet) of the network provided by the router.  Lastly, make sure to always use the router's LAN ports, not the WAN or Internet port to connect to the mixer's HiQnet port.

With the current line of Si mixers (Si Impact, Si Performer, Si Expression), the only DIP switch combination that will operate correctly is the default settings:  

• DIP switch 3 — OFF
• DIP switches 2 & 4 — ON. 
• This will configure the MADI Stagebox channels as 1-32 and the MADI USB channels as 33-64.

Note:  Although the MADI channels to and from USB are numbered 33-64, that is our internal buss number.  In the computer they will correspond to channels 1-32.

The original Si series cannot be connected to or controlled wirelessly.

The shows must be saved separately.

To be able to use all 40 in and outputs of the card, all switches must be set to ON.

To reset the I/O settings on any Si console: 

• go to the SHOW menu
• press the RESET CONFIG button
• select YES on the confirmation dialogue box.

Note:  This does not reset your patching, just simply “re-discovers" any external I/O or option cards that are connected to your console, such as a Soundcraft Stagebox.

Soundcraft recommends the use of headphones with it's impedance between 75 and 200 ohms for the best possible result for its Si line mixers.

Cat5e or Cat6 UTP Solid Core. 

• The requirement is Cat5e or Cat6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) Solid Core.  This must be a direct, point to point connection with no patch points or connections inline.

What about shielded cable?

• Other types of cable may work but, due to Soundcraft's proprietary control signals (preamp and phantom power control, as preamps are in the Stagebox itself), shielding interferes with this signal and can cause the Stagebox to not stay locked correctly.  You may actually receive audio but have no lock or control.

What about stranded cable?

• Stranded cable, due to the air gaps between strands, should be avoided as well.

Unlike encoders for gain, eq, processing, etc., the mix width is not an active encoder function. You must set it where you want, then push in on encoder to select it.

Mix Width is the amount of the input that will be in the other space.  IE: if you are panned center, and the mix width is 0%, all signal will be just in the center.  As you pan left or right, the signal goes to that location totally.  So if you pan left, there will be no signal in Center or Right.  If you raise the mix width, that percentage of signal will always come from the other channels as well.  This allows you to pan the majority of the channels signal, but leaves a percentage in the channels that you are panned away from.

• Select channel and then select Input

• Select LCR Mode, then select Mix Width.  
• Rotate the encoder to the desired percentage.  
• Then you MUST click down on the encoder for the change to take effect.

The knob part numbers for the Si Performer are:

• Potentiometer knobs (gain, EQ, etc.): 5027100 - HDW,KNOB,12.7mm,D-SHFT,SILVER
• Encoder knob: 34-0411 - KNOB ENCODER RP170

Yes.  They are plug and play compatible; no additional driver needed.

While any MIX tOTEM button (MIX 1-14) is selected, pressing the ON button will sets the selected mix send fader to unity.  

• This can be very helpful when creating post fader mix or group whereas all faders need to be quickly set to Unity.   You can press more than one ON button at a time to set multiple channels to unity at once.

ALT + NEXT

Scrolls and activates the previous cue in the cue list.

The Part Numbers of the Yotta boards in the Si consoles are:

• Si Compact consoles: A522.010022 - Si Compact Emma Lite.
• Si Expression consoles: 5028600-02 - PCB,ASY,SI-EXPRESSION-YOTTA.
• Si Performer consoles: 5022910-03 - PCB,ASY,V1,SI-PERFORMER-YOTTA.
• Si Impact: 5056407-02 - PCB,ASY,V1,SI-IMPACT_EMMA-YOTTA.

In the Si consoles, PN: 5136382-00 is used.  The previous PN: 5022918 has become inactive.  

PN: 5136382-00 is also used in the R versions of the Mini Stagebox.

Setting Isolate on a channel is a handy way to cause that channel to not change when a show or cue is loaded or called.  This is a wanted behavior for say, between show playback music channels that you want to stay steady as you load a different show file.  This can be confusing if you recall a show and certain channels do not recall.  

• When you push Select on any channel, look for the ISO to be lit above the Delay encoder in the Out section.  
• If it is lit, that channel is in Isolate mode.  
• To enable or disable Isolate, select channel and hit Inputs on screen.  
• Set Isolate accordingly. 

• First, select each channel that you want to be in the Group and de-select LR and/or MONO on those channels.

• With a post fader Aux mix selected, assign the mix to LR and/or MONO. then bring up the channels you wish to be in the group to unity (0db). 
• Once again, make sure those channels are no longer assigned to LR and/or MONO.

• This will create a Group and the mix master is then the Group Master.

There are 22 Inserts available on Si mixers.  ​These create a “loop" to Send and Receive from another device and can be Inserted on any channel, and any Output.  If there is an active Insert assigned, and that loop is not complete (plugin broken, patch bad, device itself not passing audio), then the audio chain will be broken at that point of insert.  

To check:

1. select the Insert in option on the screen.  
2. If you see any Inserts assigned, try momentarily setting them to “Unassigned" and see if audio flow returns.  
3. If this fixes the issue, then you must investigate the Insert or Plugin for issues before re-inserting.

Last supported Operating Systems below-

• PC Compatibility: The Soundcraft Multi Digital Card supports Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 and will NOT support any OS after Windows 8.
• Mac Compatibility: The Soundcraft Multi Digital Card supports Mac OS 10.6.x Snow Leopard through to 10.11.x El Capitan and will NOT support any OS after El Capitan (10.11).

Note:  We have had reports of the firewire interface working “ok" with some MAC versions after El Capitan, but have many reports of it NOT working at all in Ventura (13.0).  As the device is end of life and unsupported, there will be no updates to drivers, software, or hardware in the future.

For easy connection to other Dante devices, the Secondary port on Si Dante cards is shipped in Switch mode.  The Dante card is a parallel switch from the Primary port to go out to other Dante devices.

This setting is set in the Dante Controller software. 

• Open Dante Controller.  
• Double click device name to open device page.  
• Click on Network Config.  
• Where is says “Current:" there is a drop-down that allows you to set the secondary port to be either Switched from the Primary port or being a Redundant Secondary port.  
• After changes, make sure to select apply.  
• You may need to reboot if connectivity issues persist.

Different Dante cards can be installed in Si Mixers, Vi Mixers, Vi Local Racks, Vi Stageboxes, and Compact Stageboxes.

• Si Dante - Allows the console to send and receive up to 64 channels in each direction if fitted in Slot 1.  If fitted to Slot 2 it would be 64 In x 32 Out.

** except when installed in Vi Stagebox or Compact Stagebox.  In those cases, the channels that are available for Dante card are the unused MADI channels, as the audio travels thru the 64x64 MADI to and from the Dante card.

You will need to output from the mixer via Dante and convert to Blu link with BSS BLU-DA, BLU-326DA or BLU-806DA.

• Si Mixers use a Si-Dante option card

• Vi 1000, 2000, & 3000 Mixers have Dante interface built in but can also use an option card.
• Vi mixers with Local rack will either already have a Dante card installed or you can add one.

Once Dante is available on mixer, you connect the Dante to the BSS BLU-DA/326/806 following Dante connectivity procedures.  

• The BLU-DA/326/806 will allow you to convert Dante to Blu link and visa-versa.  
• You will need to configure the Soundweb London Dante device using Audio Architect and create a cross patch as illustrated in the image below.  
• Remember that Dante channels have an In and Out with same channel number.  
• Blu link channels can be either an In or an Out, but they just all must be unique numbers.

The LCD screens have the ribbon cable attached to them. If you order the screen you should be able to place it into the console.

• The part number of the LCD screen used in the Si Expression and Si Performer consoles is C073.010193 (45-pin ribbon cable).
• The part number of the Si Impact LCD module is 5055304 (40-pin ribbon cable).

• The current part number of the power supply used in the Si consoles is 5136955-00.  It is now used in the Si Expression, Si Performer and Si Impact consoles.  
• In the past, the power supply used in the Si consoles was C089.202024, but it has become obsolete.  
• The two PSU versions are interchangeable, 5136955-00 can be used in the older Si Compact consoles as well.

Yes, the Si series are plug and play compatible with macOS Sonoma; no additional driver needed.

This will show how to patch inputs and outputs to and from computer using MADI/USB combo card in Si Mixers.

• When you need to send MADI audio streams to and from a computer, you will first need to install the Soundcraft USB Control Panel and Driver found here. https://www.soundcraft.com/en-US/softwares/soundcraft-multichannel-usb-audio-driver-v3-20  then you will connect a high speed USB A to B cable from the USB port on the MADI/USB combo card to your computer.
• Here is an illustration of patching Left and Right to MADI channels.  
• Select the Left and Right above the Master fader.

• Then, on the screen, select Outputs.

• Next thing to do is scroll down to Output Patch. 
• Outputs have 2 patches available.  
• Usually, leave Patch 1 alone and select Patch 2.

• You will spin the wheel until you see MADI USB Card.  
• If you have a Stagebox, the MADI channels will start at 33.  
• This is normal. MADI channel 33 will show up in computer as channel 1.  
• Select 33 and both 33 and 34 will be checked as it is a stereo pair, or channels 1 and 2 in computer.

• Next, we will look at patching a direct out from a channel in these illustrations.  
• Select an input, click Inputs on screen.

• On the selected input, select DirectOutPatch.

• Then you select a MADI output channel to send the direct out for that channel.  
• This is how you would patch channel to do a multi-track DAW input setup.

• If you also want to bring a return into a channel, patch it as the input.

• In this case, MADI channel 33 is selected to Input Patch on channel 1.  
• This corresponds with output channel 1 on computer.

•  Here is what the channel looks like after these patches.

• Press Menu button to bring up main screen.

• Press the SHOW Icon: this will bring up the EDIT SHOW menu that allows the management of show files with the ability to save and update a current show, and the ability to load from and backup to the USB stick, as well as save to the internal MMC (SD card). This menu screen also gives you access to the Global Isolate filters.

• SAVE AS: Allows saving of the current show. 
• When pressed the QWERTY keyboard opens and the <current show name>. is displayed, this may be modified to allow saving different versions of a show such as 'SHOW – MONDAY', 'SHOW – TUESDAY' etc…

• Press the APPLY key to confirm the new show name. 
• Once the name is confirmed use the SCROLL/ADJUST encoder as required to navigate to the storage device either the internal MMC or a USB stick.

• If a file in the same folder has the same name a warning regarding file overwrite is displayed with the option to abort.
• When using the Off-Line Editor importing or saving shows opens a typical Windows file open/save dialogue.

The knob part numbers for the Si Impact are:

Unlike the Si Expression and Si Performer, the Si Impact does not have ¼" line inputs.  There are 4 stereo channels available on the mixer, they just are not assigned or patched by default. 

There are total of 8 stereo channels on Si mixers.  On all Si mixers, 4 are used for F/X Returns. These are usually ST 5 to ST 8.  On Expression and Performer, 2 or 4 are used for the 1/4" line inputs.  Seeing the stereo channels do not have a mic preamp, they can only be used for line level sources.  On the Si Impact, you can use ST 1 through ST 4 for digital inputs, such as MADI channels from the USB interface.
 

This is how you assign the stereo channels to faders and patch input signal to them:

• On the Main Menu select Fader Setup.
• Select an open channel (or you can change any existing channel if you like).

• Under Assign Stereo Channels, select one of the unused stereo channels.  
• In this example, ST 1.

• Select Inputs and VCA.

• Make the patch.  
• In this example, we are patching MADI channels 33 and 34 (USB audio return channel 1 and 2) to the stereo fader ST 1.

The Si mixer option card channel numbers may not be the same as the channels on the connected device.  This is especially true on the MADI/USB Card, the MADI channel numbers do not match the channels in the DAW.  This is also the case if you are using a BLU-Si option card; the mixer channel numbers do not match the BLU link buss numbers.

The Si Performer and Si Impact have 2 option card slots.  

• Slot 1 is 64 Inputs x 64 Outputs.  
• Slot 2 is 64 Inputs x 32 Outputs.  
• If you want to send MADI USB channels from mixer to computer, you must use Slot 1 as those channels are in the range of 33-64 on the mixer's buss.

When powering the Si mixer on, a long hold of the power button will place the device into software update mode.  To correctly power the mixer on, it only requires a quick press and release of the power button.

The Si series does not have a Library feature and does not support this function.

• The dual MADI card has capability of 64 by 64 MADI channels in and out.  
• The MADI/USB card has 32 MADI channels in and out but also has 32 channels of USB2 in and out available for record out or to bring signal from a digital device in and out.

The Fader and the Monitor output controls have been swapped to use the mixer in a Monitor console configuration.  To change back to default:

• Select the Menu button
• ​Select Monitor Setup page
• Select LR/Monitor Swap and disable it

This should return the Output Fader to normal operation.

Si mixers have four Matrixes, each can be either Mono or Stereo.  There is no need to “link” Matrixes to achieve stereo output, they just need to be assigned to an output.

• By default Matrixes are set to mono, but can be configured to stereo.  
• After selecting a Matrix, select “Outputs” on the display screen, then select “Mix Width”.  
• This option allows you to configure mono or stereo output. 
• From this menu, you can route the outputs under “Patching”.  
• In the example below, we have patched Matrix 1 to outputs 15 & 16 at the rear of the mixer, replacing the Main Left and Right output.

• Matrixes can be fed from either Aux Bus outputs, or L&R/Mono outputs.  
• To select Matrix mix contributions from Aux Buses, click on the “Matrix Fader Follow" button once.  
• Here we see Aux mixes being brought into Matrix 1.

• To select Matrix mix contributions from L&R and Mono, click on “Matrix Fader Follow" button a second time, or two presses total.  
• Here we see L&R brought into Matrix Mix 1, which essentially gives you a duplication of L&R with its own processing.
• Make sure to pan Left to the Left side and pan Right to the Right side. ​

•  ​Note:  At the time of this writing, the Left fader is marked as “L&R". This is incorrect and it should be labelled “Left"

When pressing the Fader Follow button for a FX Send, nothing happens.  There is no FX Return channel assigned to that FX.  FX Return channels (light blue fader glow) must be assigned to enable the FX Send Fader Follow to function.  If there is no return channel assigned (Stereo Input 5 through 8 [ST 5 - ST 8] by default), the Send button will not operate.

• Select the stereo channel you want for the FX return, in this example we are using ST 5.  
• Notice in the image below how there is no input patch assigned?  
• The fader glow is purple, meaning it is a non-fx stereo channel.  
• In this state, pushing the FX 1 Send Fader Follow button will do nothing, as FX 1 return is not assigned anywhere.

• The image below shows the LEX-RT1 assigned to the ST 5 channel.  
• Now the FX 1 button, and the FX engine itself, will operate.

Yes, the Si series are plug and play compatible with macOS Sequoia​; no additional driver needed.

Si Performer and Si Expression feature both analog and digital inserts, whereas the Si Impact have digital inserts only.  There are a total of 22 inserts available on all models.  They can be used on individual channels, mix buss outputs, or matrix outputs.  This is done either with Analog (on Performer or Expression), using XLR mix outputs and ¼" TRS Line Inputs; or Digital (all Si mixers), using channels on option cards (MADI, Dante, BLU Link). Even though there are only 22 inserts available, they can be patched from any option card channel.  Channels shown will be the mixer's internal bus channel number; for example, Slot 1 is bus channels 1-64 and Slot 2 is 65-96.

Assigning and Using an Insert

• Select a channel, mix buss out, or matrix out.  
• Select Insert from touch screen.  
• Next, you must assign the patches for the inserts. 
• Select Insert Setup:

• Select an Insert and assign the Send and Return channel.  
• First is an example of Digital insert using Slot 2, channel 1.  This shows as a Bus or Insert channel 65:

• Next is an example of Insert 2 being assigned XLR 1 out and Line 1 in:
• Remember, this is NOT available on Si Impact

• Returning to the Insert Assign screen, we can now assign Insert 1 to Input channel 1.  
• Channel inserts are all Pre-EQ - meaning the insert point is placed between the Compression and EQ processing - and cannot be changed:

• Here is the analog Insert 2 we patched earlier assigned to Mix 1. 
• Notice that on the Mix Busses you have the choice of Pre-EQ, Post-EQ (but Pre-fader), and Post-fade.  
• Matrixes have the choice of Pre-EQ and Post-EQ, no Post-fade.

• The finished patch and insert looks like this:

• Note:  You cannot turn the Insert on each channel on or off, it must be un-assigned from the channel.

With the Mixer powered on:

• Press the MENU button.

• From the Main Menu screen select the SHOW button.​

• This will open the EDIT SHOW window.

• Select  NEW SHOW.

• Press the MENU button.

• On the MAIN menu, select SYSTEM.  This will open the SYSTEM window.

• On the SYSTEM window press the RESET ALL button on the bottom right. 

• Press YES on the pop up.

• Select the MENU button.

• Select SHOW.

• Select the RESET CONFIG button on bottom right on screen and then press YES.

• Restart the mixer.   
• After the mixer has rebooted press the MENU button.

• Go to SHOW and hit the SAVE AS button.

• Assign a Name and Date to the Show and hit APPLY.  You may need to push the scroll button down.

• Select YES​.

• When show is saved then you're ready to start a new show or test system for hardware or software issues.

There may be times when you want multiple channels to come from same physical input. This is handy when you want a second (or more) direct out. Or using 1 channel for FOH and another for Monitors. You can also use 2 channels from 1 mic and by applying different processing and pan, create a stereo effect from that 1 mic.

Note:  The Preamp gain will be shared on both channels. Best to set the preamp gain with the first channel in the link.

• To accomplish this, first, patch the second channel to the same mic input (either back of mixer or Stagebox). 
• In this example, We used a single mic input to 2 channels to use 1 channel for FOH mains and another for the monitor sends. 
• This will allow you to have different EQ and processing on each channel.
• Select the channel input:
