How to use the same physical input on multiple channels:
This is how to assign a single physical input to multiple channels.
To have multiple direct outs, Independent FOH/Monitor channels, different EQ (stereo effect):
There may be times when you want multiple channels to come from same physical input. This is handy when you want a second (or more) direct out. Or using 1 channel for FOH and another for Monitors. You can also use 2 channels from 1 mic and by applying different processing and pan, create a stereo effect from that 1 mic.
Note:
The Preamp gain will be shared on both channels. Best to set the preamp gain with the first channel in the link.
To accomplish this, first, patch the second channel to the same mic input (either back of mixer or stagebox). In this example, I used a single mic input to 2 channels to use 1 channel for FOH mains and another for the monitor sends. This will allow you to have different EQ and processing on each channel.
Select the channel input:

Then you select the same physical mic channel:

This shows the selected channel complete:

Notice how the 2 channels have independent processing:
