How do you make the Internal Diagnostic Messages or Notifications in Netlinx Studio show in real time?

Answer:

If you have ever noticed the progress bar for Internal Diagnostic Messages or Notifications building up and then appear to catch up by displaying a bunch of information all at once, it is because you didn't see all of the information from where it froze to where it caught up. This can be remedied by telling Netlinx Studio to read more data each time it checks its buffer for information. The steps to do this are as follows:

Click on Settings
Click Preferences
Click on Diagnostics on the left-hand side
Under the Diagnostics and Notifications Output Displays put 99 in the "Read ___ line(s) form the buffer every 1/4 second" blank
Click OK

Now Netlinx Studio will show information real time in Notifications and Diagnostics and not build up information.
