Overview:
The H100 uses elastic bands (often called suspension cords) to isolate the microphone from vibrations, handling noise, and stand movement. Over time, these bands can stretch, dry out, or break, reducing shock absorption and letting unwanted noise through.
This article outlines the steps for changing or replacing the elastic band suspension on an H85 shock mount.
