Question:
Why does the tilt lock on my fixture not working properly and gradually release when I tilt the head up and down?
Answer:
Based on the video, it appears that the tilt lock button is not fully engaged. When the button is only partially pressed in—as seen at the beginning of the video—it may not properly secure the mechanism. In this state, movement of the fixture head (such as tilting up and down) can cause the lock to gradually disengage and pop out.
To ensure the tilt lock is fully engaged, we recommend gently moving the head slightly up and down while pressing the button firmly. This helps align the internal locking mechanism, allowing the button to seat completely. When properly engaged, the button will be fully depressed and remain securely in place.
Additional Information:
- In this first image, the button is fully depressed, indicating correct engagement.
- In the second image, the button is only partially depressed, similar to what is shown in the video, which can result in the issue described.
- If the problem persists even when the button is fully engaged, please let us know so we can assist further.
