- Product: Crown 4x3500HD
- Firmware version: v1.0.5.21
- Display version: v2.0.1.2
- Audio Architect 2.55.3
Symptoms
- After recalling a non-bridged preset from the front panel, outputs remain effectively bridged.
- Even-numbered channels display “N/A” on the front panel.
- Front-panel LEDs indicate bridged operation (e.g., only odd channels show a Ready LED).
Expected Behavior
- Recalling a non-bridged preset should return channels to dual mode.
Actual Behavior
- Channels previously bridged do not revert to dual mode when a non-bridged preset is recalled from the front panel.
Solution:
Workaround
- Do not close Audio Architect while the amplifier is set to a preset with bridged outputs.
Recovery
- If the problem has already occurred, perform a factory reset on the amplifier. Then reprogram the amplifier and be sure it is on the default preset or another non-bridged preset before closing Audio Architect.
Status
