How to Daisy Chain EON 700 Series Speakers
Table of Contents
Overview:
Daisy-chaining JBL EON 700 series speakers allows you to create a mono system with extended coverage by sending audio from one unit to the next. This setup is ideal for events, venues, or installations requiring consistent sound across larger areas without using multiple mixers or extra sources.
What You'll Need:
- Two (or more) JBL EON 700 speakers.
- A Balanced XLR cable (one per additional speaker).

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Power on the primary speaker and confirm your audio is playing.
Locate the Pass Thru / Mix Out jack on the back panel of the Host EON 700 series (it's a balanced XLR line-level output).

Run a balanced XLR cable from the Host Pass Thru to a line input on the second EON 700 series.

Power up the second speaker and verify that audio is passing.
Adjust volume/EQ per unit using each speaker's onboard mixer to suit the space. The Pass Thru menu is found under Menu>Mix Out & Time Align.
