What lubricant should be used on Martin Products?
Whether you have an LED fixture or a fixture with a discharge lamp, these products build up high temperatures that require lubrication that can withstand these high temperatures and still maintain its effectiveness. High quality high temperature resistant silicone based lubricant is highly recommend.
Martin uses Kluber Barrierta 55/0 lubricant grease as the choice of lubricant due to its reputation of long-term stability and thermal resistance. This lubricant has the perfect viscosity to ensure optimal performance of the parts it is applied to.
Kluber Barrierta is the only lubricant approved for use in Martin products. Any other lubricant or grease can and will cause erratic behavior from your unit and even product failure. Using any other lubricant can void your warranty and cause issues such as the lubricant drying up quickly and behave as an adhesive seizing or freezing parts, potentially creating bigger problems such as errors and unusual behavior ultimately damaging expensive parts that are not covered under warranty, applicable if your unit is eligible for warranty spare parts.
