Summary:

A quality concern has been reported by a distribution partner regarding visible marks and crack-like cosmetic defects on EON700 enclosures. The issue has been observed across multiple randomly selected units, while packaging and pallets showed no signs of transport damage. Based on the initial assessment, the defects are likely related to the manufacturing process.

Troubleshooting:

The Quality team concluded that the observed marks are a result of the injection molding process and tooling characteristics, rather than damage or cracking caused by assembly or overtightened screws. While the appearance may vary between units, the condition is currently considered to be within existing manufacturing specifications.

At this time, there is no corrective solution available for products in production. Although the Sustaining team is planning a future tooling upgrade to improve the enclosure appearance, the project is still in the planning phase and no implementation timeline has been confirmed. Production will continue with the current tooling until any future improvements are introduced.
