How do I find the IP address of a DVX?
Answer:
- From the front panel:
- Press the STATUS button
- Press the UP or DOWN button repeatedly until you get to the IP address. You can also find the HOSTNAME using this method.
- From the ICSLAN port:
- Set PC to DHCP and connect to the ICSLAN jack on the back
- Use Netlinx Studio to LISTEN FOR MASTERS or set connection to 198.18.0.1
- Refresh the ONLINE TREE. The WAN IP will display. If no IP is displayed, go to NETWORK ADDRESSES in the DIAGNOSTICS menu and click GET IP INFORMATION.
