Can I give a DBX PA2 a static IP address?
Not on the device. You will need a DHCP enabled Switch or Router for controlling and configuring your PA2 to assign an IP address. Most Routers by default have DHCP capabilities and most Network Switch units are by default not DHCP configurable. If using a Network Switch be sure to select one that explicitly states that it is DHCP capable before doing so. To know it the Switch or Router is serving DHCP the front display will show an IP address otherwise it will show 0.0.0.0.
