XLS Drivecore Series 1 Default Setup

How to set an XLS Drivecore (XLS1000, XLS1500, XLS2000 or XLS2500) to its default settings
XLS Drivecore Series 1 defaults
- Amp in Stereo Mode
- Crossover Bypassed
- Clip Limiter 1 On
- Clip Limiter 2 On
To confirm the amplifier is set up in this way, please follow the instructions below.
Set the amp to Stereo Mode, with the crossover bypassed
- Hold the Mode/Menu button down for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays Amp Mode <More>.
- Press the Mode/Menu button to begin configuration the Amp Mode.
- Press the Next button to cycle through the amp modes: Stereo, Bridge, Input-Y. Stop when the LCD screen displays Mode: Stereo.
- Now press the Mode/Menu button to confirm.
- Press the Next button to cycle through the filter modes: Lowpass, Highpass, XOver, Bypass.
Stop when the LCD screen displays Filter: Bypass.
- Press the Mode/Menu button to confirm.
- The LCD screen should now read Stereo Bypass.
Enable the Clip Limiters
Now you must check the Clip Limiter settings.
- Once again, hold the Mode/Menu button down for 3 seconds until the LCD screen displays Amp Mode <More>.
Press the Next Button. - The screen will show Ch1 Clip <More>.
- Press the Mode/Menu button, and the screen will show the clip limiter status for Ch1.
If it does not say On, press Next until it does. - Press the Mode/Menu button again, the screen will show the clip limiter status for Ch2.
If it does not say On, press Next until it does.
Now both clip limiters are in the default On state. - Press Mode/Menu one more time, returning to the LCD screen showing Stereo Bypass.
The amplifier is now in its default setup.
