RMS Transporter Update Manager Support:

• This version includes support for the RMS Transporter Update Manager.  However, there is no RMS Transporter Update Manager Support to upgrade the device firmware.  This will have to be done using Netlinx Studio.

Fixes in this release:

• Fixed LDAP processing to increase the maximum number of returned results allowed
• Fixed LDAP to limit the search scope to either the admin or user group
• Fixed LDAP return result checking to be case insensitive (which matches LDAP and NX master behavior)
• Fixed DATA.SOURCEIP so that it supports IPv6 addresses (for connection with NX master)
• Removed debugging account to prevent security vulnerability
• Fixed SSL certificate request form which wasn't storing user inputs
• Fixed SSL certificate values to be persistent through system reboot
• Upgraded OpenSSL to prevent security vulnerabilities
• Added new command 'set ssh version' which allows the user to disable support of SSH v1 and only allow SSH v2 connections
• Fixed issue when loading driver dependencies
• Altered LDAP to search for a user's groups using the bindDn information
• Removed LDAP processing when making an ICSP connection to match the NX's behavior and allow local users to continue to be valid.
• Fixed M2M CommandSize and StringSize message processing to allow for Port 0 (indicating all ports) to be specified.
• Increased LDAP URI, Base DN, Bind DN, User Query Attr parameters' max length from 100 to 255 and the search password max length from 100 to 128 to match the NX's behavior.

Prerequisites:

• The NI must be running device firmware (device 5001) version v1.31.6 or higher.
• The Switcher must be running device firmware (device 5002) version v1.6.31​ or higher.

Notable Points:

• There is no ability to configure connected DxLink receivers from the Web GUI.
• Due to the way many browsers manage file upload requests while in an authenticated session, it is not possible to load a DVX setup (.xdv) file with any web browser that AMX has tested, except Microsoft Internet Explorer when HTTP Security is enabled on the DVX Master.
• IE security does not allow G4WebControl to install by default and IE8 64-bit is not supported.

Programming Information:

• If using a DVX2110-SP (-T) configuration, the Switcher must be running v1.6.31 or above Switcher firmware. The Master must be running versions 4.8.313 and above to use the web configuration page.
• If using a DVX3156-SP (-T) configuration, the Switcher must be running v1.6.13 or above Switcher firmware. The Master must be running versions 4.8.306 and above to use the web configuration page.
• Before upgrading to version 4.8.316 be sure the DVXX15XHD-XX meets the requirements above with regards to the Switcher version. 
• To reduce the potential of corrupting firmware:
  • Flip dipswitch 1 to the up position and reboot the DVXXX15XHD-XX to   disable the Netlinx program.
  • Load the SW1905-15_Master_CF_Prep_v4_8_316.kit file and reboot the   DVXX15XHD-XX.  
• If after upgrading with the prep file (SW1905-15_Master_CF_Prep_v4_8_316.kit), still shows the old version number in online tree for the Master firmware version, then it is likely that the DVXX15XHD-XX does not use a CompactFlash for storage.  
• Proceed to loading SW1905-15_Master_CF_v4_8_316.kit to complete the upgrade.
