In this tutorial, we examine the XOR gate object in the Virtual View of AVX Architect. Learn where to find it in the Virtual Library, how it operates, and how to configure its properties for DSP logic processing. The XOR gate outputs a high state only when an odd number of inputs are high, making it essential for advanced conditional logic in AV systems.

In this video, we’ll continue to explore the Virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the various Logic Gate objects. The XOR gate is a Boolean logic object used to create conditional actions within the program. The XOR gate has from 2-512 inputs and one output. For the output to be ON, an odd number of inputs must be ON.
The Logic XOR object does not have a Factory panel. All the parameters available for this object are found on the right, in the “Properties” window. The “Properties” window has the usual naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation settings. The number of inputs can be changed in the Options section.
