In this video, we’ll continue to explore the Virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the various Logic End Objects. The Preset Trigger provides a way to recall parameter presets from within the program based on a condition. The input is in binary format, so for example with a 2 input Preset Table, up to 4 presets can be recalled. The light on the logic object block indicates the current state of the output.
There is no default factory panel for the Preset Trigger, and all settings can be found in the Options section of the Properties window. General properties contain the usual naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation options. The Options section contains the number of inputs, selectable from 1 to 12. Clicking the “Edit” button next to Presets will bring up the Preset Table. Here we can see the various values and the preset that will be recalled when that value is triggered. The preset can be changed by selecting the preset or value, then selecting the “Edit” button in the bottom left.
